? As part of our?Community Engagement initiative?— in partnership with Shilpa Foundation — we welcomed 35 bright 10th-grade girls from Puttenahalli Government High School to our Bangalore office. Many of them stepping into a tech workplace for the very first time.
??? Our goal? Simple yet powerful!
? Expose them to real tech roles
?? Build confidence and challenge STEM stereotypes
?? Highlight career paths in engineering, product, and beyond
At Truecaller, we build trust in communication - and this event extended that mission by building trust in potential, mentorship, and opportunity.
From exploring engineering streams, personal journeys shared, exam tips to scam alerts and awareness, social media safety, and the power of customer support - our volunteers came together to educate, encourage, and empower. Judging by the energy, curiosity, and joy, we’d say: mission accomplished ??
The day ended with some impromptu singing and dance performance - a celebration of curiosity and hope.
Special thanks to our incredible speakers:
Shad,?Milu,?Shruti,?Adhip,?Rashmi, and?Saumya? - and to?Rishit?and?Fatima?for joining in with warmth, encouragement, and heartfelt wishes.
And shout out to our amazing organising team:?Humera, Manjunath, Guru, Chaitra, and Srilakshmi? - you made it happen.
Future engineers, designers, leaders walked through our doors - and left with a spark we’ll never forget.
This is just the beginning. We’re excited to take this initiative to more locations and more young minds. Because when we give back, we all move forward - together, with trust.
